The Song Pom Team is a part of the Aptos High School Spirit Program. The team is composed of a select group of students who represent academic and athletic excellence, school spirit, and love of dance. Our team is dedicated to promoting unity throughout the school. We support the Aptos High School Athletics Department and the AHS student community. The Song Pom Team performs classic Song Pom routines and current dance choreography at athletic events and select community events for entertainment and promotion of positive school spirit.

Pom is a fast-paced, athletic style of dance involving synchrony of dance motions, uniformity, and visual effects. The majority of a Pom routine is executed with Poms with an emphasis on precise, sharp, clean motions.
