San Juan Oaks' very challenging back nine was the meeting place for Aptos and Hollister (aka San Bonito HS) to find out who could survive best the beating of this hard and very difficult golf course. Aptos won but they gave up 24 extra strokes from their lowest score of this season. Aptos 208 to Hollister's 270 was the final score, giving Aptos a perfect 9-0 duel match record. Medalist honors were shared by Senior Adam MacDonald and Junior Cole DeFrancesco with a two over par 38. Other Aptos scores were: Jake Lanagan (39), Nicolas Gavasse (46), Max Stobaugh (47). Jacob Fassio (47).
