As Aptos played Ann Sobrato on Thursday December 12th. Both teams started off strong defensively throughout the field and ended the first half with a 0-0 tie. However, Aptos came out strong in the second half with senior captain Aubree Westjohn, scoring within the first 3 minutes. Aptos continued their attack to goal and drew a foul within the box to take a penalty kick where junior Susana Estrada, finished the shot into the back of the net…..To continue the streak, Aptos senior captain Brynn Mitchell had a finish in the 21st minute…..this was the final goal of the game..
