Aptos traveled to San Juan Oaks to play a non-league match today. The golf course was tough! The back nine, Par 36, 3479 yds. even makes the Pros cry a little, but Aptos (215) won again. Hollister aka San Benito shot a team score of (236). The Aptos star for the day was Medalist, Jake Lanagan (40), He led all the players from both teams and additional scores for Aptos players were Johnny Staka (41), Nick Gavasse (43), Cole DeFrancesco (44), Adam MacDonald 47, and Max Stobaugh's (51) wasn't needed to complete our perfect season so far of 11 straight wins.
Next match will be Aptos Boy's hosting their own tournament, The 45th. Annual Aptos Invitational at Seascape Golf Course, Monday, April 23 with Aptos leading the 16 Team Tournament at 10:00 a.m. Previous State Championship team playing this year are: Harker, Archbishop Mitty, Stevenson,and Palma.
