This was an evenly matched, and intense scrimmage between Aptos and Soquel. Aptos held a strong defense against Soquel’s persistent offense. After Soquel’s early goal within the first ten minutes, Esme (number 9) ties the game with a goal in the 11th minute, with an assist from Malia. In the 12th minute of the first half, Jazmine (number 17) scores the last goal of the game, with an assist from Esme. Throughout the second half, both teams fought hard. Angie (number 99) made a tremendous save to maintain Aptos’ 2-1 lead. This scrimmage was a great way to start off the Aptos season!
