A graduate and a New England All-Conference wrestler from Rhode Island College, Reggie has served as wrestling coach at Aptos HS for the past 20 years. Prior to arriving in California in 1997, Reggie had previously coached for North Providence HS (Rhode Island), Leominster HS (Massachusetts) and the Massachusetts Jr. National Team. While at Aptos, Roberts has coached 77 individual league champions, 37 CCS section placers, 4 CCS Champions and 12 CIF state meet qualifiers during his tenure as a Mariner. Reggie was also a Coach for 9 of the 10 SCCAL league titles that Aptos has collected over the course of their history. In addition, The Mariners were undefeated in the SCCAL during the  2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons. Since 2010, there have been only 4 schools that have finished in the "Top 25" at CCS, for 9 consecutive years: Gilroy, Bellarmine Prep, Fremont and APTOS!
