Lisa Crouch

Hall of Fame Class of 2006

Lisa Crouch (class of 1993) – Lisa ran varsity track and cross-country all four years. In her frosh year in cross-country, Lisa placed third in CCS, and qualified individually for the state meet. The next three years, she and the team both qualified for the state meet, where the team finished fourth in 1991 and 1992. In 1991 and 1992, the cross-country team also won consecutive SCCAL and CCS championships. In track, Lisa was a six-time SCCAL individual champion. She was also a five-time CCS medalist and a three-time CCS champion, including back-to-back 800 meter titles in 1992 and 1993. Lisa’s 800 and 1600 meters times still rank in the top 5 in Aptos history. Lisa also led the Mariners to consecutive SCCAL team championships in track and field in 1992 and 1993. After Aptos, Lisa moved-on to UC Davis, where she continued to run track and cross-country, and where she earned degrees in Exercise Physiology and Psychology. Lisa stayed in Davis, where she lives with her boyfriend Warren, and where she continues to run in road races and triathlons. Lisa works as a personal trainer helping others to attain their fitness goals. Lisa was presented into the Hall by her former head coach, Kim Horn.
