Chaska Potter
Hall of Fame Class of 2003
Chaska Potter (class of 1995) – Chaska was a three-year All-League and All-County selection in both volleyball and basketball, and she was a two-time All-CCS volleyball selection. In 1995, she was the Aptos High School Female Athlete-of-the-Year. As a junior, Chaska played for the Junior National Volleyball Team at the World Games in Puerto Rico, and as a sophomore, she led the Aptos volleyball team to the SCCAL, CCS, and Nor Cal championships. Chaska was also an SCCAL medalist in the discus in track and field. After high school, Chaska played at nationally-ranked UCLA. She was named to the Pac-10 All-Frosh Team her first year, and as a senior was chosen as co-captain of the Bruins. Today Chaska is a musician and has, with her band Raining Jane, recorded several CD’s. Chaska was presented into the Hall by her sister Serena.
